Add multiple sign-in methods

Connecting multiple sign-in methods lets you reach the same Recalibr8 account in more than one way. For example, you can sign up with Apple and later add Google and a password.

Caution

Connect additional methods only while signed into the account you want to keep. Creating a separate account first may result in two identities instead of one linked identity.

Web

1. Open Settings → Security → Sign-in Method.
2. Choose an unconnected method: Google, Apple, or Email & Password.
3. Complete the provider popup or set a new password.
4. Return to the list and confirm the method is marked connected.

iOS

1. Open Settings → Sign-In Methods.
2. Select Connect next to Email & Password, Google, or Apple.
3. Complete the provider authorization or set and confirm a password.
4. Confirm the method displays Connected.

Android

1. Open Settings → Sign-In Methods.
2. Connect Email & Password or Google. Apple linking is managed from iOS or the web when available.
3. Complete authorization and confirm the method is connected.

Disconnect a method

Open its menu, select Disconnect, and confirm. Recalibr8 prevents you from disconnecting the last remaining method.

Before removing a method:

• test another connected method in a separate private/incognito browser session;
• ensure its email or provider account is still accessible;
• confirm you can complete Recalibr8 two-factor authentication; and
• keep at least one method connected at all times.

Note

Disconnecting Google or Apple from Recalibr8 does not delete that Google or Apple account. Disconnecting email/password does not delete your Recalibr8 account.
