Create the key at MEXC

1. Sign in to MEXC and open API Management.
2. Select Create and complete the requested security verification.
3. Give the key a dedicated label such as Recalibr8.
4. Enable read/account access and the Spot trading permissions needed by your strategy.
5. Keep withdrawal permission disabled.
6. Add every outbound address shown inside the authenticated Recalibr8 connection flow to the MEXC IP allowlist when required.
7. Save the secret immediately—it is displayed once—then enter the access key and secret key in Recalibr8.

Danger

Never paste an MEXC secret key into chat, email, a support ticket, source code, or a public repository. Recalibr8 only requests it inside the authenticated exchange-connection form.

Troubleshooting MEXC

• Secret is no longer visible: delete the incomplete key and create a new one.
• Signature or key error: recopy both values and confirm there are no leading or trailing spaces.
• IP validation fails: use comma-separated addresses if requested by MEXC and include every address shown in Recalibr8.
• Trading is rejected: verify that Spot trading is enabled for the API key and that the pair exists on MEXC.
