Account
Section titled “Account”- Use a unique Recalibr8 password stored in a password manager.
- Verify your email address.
- Enable authenticator-based two-factor authentication.
- Enroll a backup authenticator because Recalibr8 does not issue recovery codes.
- Connect a second primary sign-in method and test it before you need it.
Exchange connection
Section titled “Exchange connection”- Enable two-factor authentication at the exchange.
- Create a separate API key used only by Recalibr8.
- Enable only account/read and required trading permissions.
- Keep withdrawal and unnecessary transfer permissions disabled.
- Add the authenticated in-app outbound addresses to the key’s IP allowlist when required.
- Store the secret securely and never include it in a support ticket.
Before subscribing
Section titled “Before subscribing”- Read the full strategy description and risk label.
- Check the metric period and sample size.
- Confirm the selected exchange supports every required pair.
- Review subscription fees and plan limits.
- Allocate only an amount you can afford to lose.
- Understand what happens to open positions when you unsubscribe.
Ongoing review
Section titled “Ongoing review”- Monitor notifications and strategy errors.
- Review exchange API activity and login history.
- Compare realised results with the strategy’s displayed performance.
- Revoke unused or suspected-compromised API keys immediately.
- Review automatic recalibration changes and version history.
- Keep browser, operating system, and Recalibr8 apps updated.
