Safety checklist

  • Use a unique Recalibr8 password stored in a password manager.
  • Verify your email address.
  • Enable authenticator-based two-factor authentication.
  • Enroll a backup authenticator because Recalibr8 does not issue recovery codes.
  • Connect a second primary sign-in method and test it before you need it.
  • Enable two-factor authentication at the exchange.
  • Create a separate API key used only by Recalibr8.
  • Enable only account/read and required trading permissions.
  • Keep withdrawal and unnecessary transfer permissions disabled.
  • Add the authenticated in-app outbound addresses to the key’s IP allowlist when required.
  • Store the secret securely and never include it in a support ticket.
  • Read the full strategy description and risk label.
  • Check the metric period and sample size.
  • Confirm the selected exchange supports every required pair.
  • Review subscription fees and plan limits.
  • Allocate only an amount you can afford to lose.
  • Understand what happens to open positions when you unsubscribe.
  • Monitor notifications and strategy errors.
  • Review exchange API activity and login history.
  • Compare realised results with the strategy’s displayed performance.
  • Revoke unused or suspected-compromised API keys immediately.
  • Review automatic recalibration changes and version history.
  • Keep browser, operating system, and Recalibr8 apps updated.
