Manage exchange connections
The exchange detail view shows whether a connection is healthy, its available balance, when it was connected, and which strategy subscriptions use it.
Check a connection
Section titled “Check a connection”Open Settings → API Connections, then select Manage on the exchange card. Refresh the balance or reconnect if the credentials have changed.
Open Settings → Exchange Connections and select the exchange. Review Connected, balance, connection date, and Used By strategies.
Open Settings, then select the exchange. The detail screen checks connection health and lists strategies currently using the exchange.
Replace an expired or revoked key
Section titled “Replace an expired or revoked key”Create a new dedicated key at the exchange, apply the same least-privilege permissions and IP allowlist, then reconnect it in Recalibr8. Delete the old key from the exchange after the replacement passes a health check.
Disconnect an exchange
Section titled “Disconnect an exchange”- Review Used By and identify every strategy subscribed through this exchange.
- Unsubscribe or move those strategies as appropriate.
- Open the exchange detail or management view and select Disconnect.
- Read the warning and confirm.
- Sign in to the exchange and delete the API key that was dedicated to Recalibr8.
Routine security maintenance
Section titled “Routine security maintenance”- Review connected exchanges monthly.
- Revoke keys you no longer use.
- Rotate a key immediately if it may have been exposed.
- Keep withdrawal and transfer permissions disabled.
- Use an IP allowlist whenever the Recalibr8 connection flow requests one.
- Review exchange login history and API activity for unfamiliar access.
