Create the key at Binance

1. Sign in to Binance on the web and open API Management.
2. Create a new system-generated API key and give it a recognizable label such as Recalibr8.
3. Complete Binance’s security verification.
4. Enable reading/account access and Spot & Margin Trading or the specific trading permission required by your strategies.
5. Do not enable withdrawals. Do not enable unrestricted transfer permissions.
6. If the Recalibr8 connection dialog requires an IP allowlist, choose Binance’s restricted-IP option and enter every address displayed inside that authenticated dialog.
7. Copy the API key and secret into Recalibr8, then select Save Access or Save & Connect.

Troubleshooting Binance

• Trading permission cannot be enabled: finish the security requirements shown by Binance and apply an IP restriction if required.
• Invalid API key or IP: confirm the key belongs to the correct Binance region and that the allowlist contains every address shown in Recalibr8.
• Restricted location or HTTP 451: Binance is declining the API request for regulatory or geographic reasons. Contact Binance support; Recalibr8 cannot override the restriction.
• Balance is missing: confirm assets are in the wallet supported by the enabled API permissions.
